Today Steve and I are moving into a bigger apartment!! Up until now we have been living in a one bedroom one bathroom apartment. It hasn’t been bad, it’s just enough space for two people, but we didn’t have enough room for all of our STUFF! We each have full bedroom sets and living room sets so all of Steve’s furniture has been in storage for the last four months.
Our new place has THREE bedrooms and two bathrooms 🙂 I was so happy when we found a place that was going to fit all of our couches into the living room. Once it’s all set up I’ll post some pictures. I really have no idea how it will end up so it’ll be interesting. Oh! One of the best parts is that my friend Cathy lives right across the street with her boyfriend!

My best friend at work, Celeste, got married yesterday! She’s been with the company for 5 years and I’ve been there for 3 years and for a long time we were the only young people – everyone else is 40+. It’s not that way anymore, but Celeste and I are still very close. I planned and organized her surprise bridal shower at work last month.

In February I transitioned to a vegan lifestyle and I learned about SO many new things. One of them is green monsters, which I initially learned about from Angela. She actually created such a buzz about them that she created an entirely separate website – the Green Monster Movement – as a way to track all the recipes. I’ve gotten my boyfriend hooked on them too which works out for me because now he will make them in the mornings and leave some for me 🙂

Also, I’ve been inspired recently by Clare at Fitting It All In. She works out every single morning before work – goes to the gym or a class, packs a bag, showers there and goes straight to work. THAT’S dedication! Every day she writes about her workouts and reading her blog has been my motivation to get up and do something in the morning, too.
I own Jillian Michaels’ 30 Day Shred and the workouts are only 20 mins each so it’s not hard to do before work. I definitely feel better when I start my day with a workout so I just wanted to say thank you to Clare for inspiring me 🙂
